With coronavirus guidelines keeping everyone at a distance, Easter Sunday was different this year, but it was still Easter and the cross is still the symbol of the hope and promise of the Resurrection. At above is the cross that stood in front of Atmore Baptist Temple on South Main. Below, the decorated cross at First Baptist Church. Folks were invited to kneel at the cross after it was erected Thursday.
