Sheldon Williams put up 16 points during Escambia County High’s 73-45 loss to UMS-Wright on January 20 and scored 17 to lead the Blue Devils to a 65-52 victory over W.S. Neal last Tuesday, January 21.
The Blue Devils currently stand at 11-12 with last week’s split.
Other players who registered points during last week’s contest against UMS-Wright were Jacobey James (7), Hakeem Johnson (7), Trevon Lambert (4), Tyson Moorer (3), Reginald Terrick (2) and Jamarius Lewis (2).
Williams was joined by three other ECHS players with double digit scoring during the win against WSN.
Moorer scored 11 against the Blue Eagles, while Lambert and Johnson tied for team honors with 13 points apiece.
The Blue Devils will host Vigor this Thursday, January 30, and will travel to face Baldwin County on Friday, January 31.
