Earlene Killam Hayles
Mrs. Earlene Killam Hayles, age 90, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in Century, Fla. She was a native of Byrneville, Fla. and resided in Lottie, Ala. since 1954. She was founder of the “Lottie Quilting Club”, worked in the cafeteria of Perdido School and owned a catering business. She attended Lottie Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Calvin Hayles; son, Bubba Hayles and one brother, Edgar Killam.
Mrs. Hayles is survived by one son, Keith (Kathy) Hayles of Lottie; one daughter, Betty Lynn (David) Corley of Lottie; one brother, John Elton Killam of Byrneville; one sister, Evelyn Killam of Byrneville; four grandchildren, Justin Hayles, Jerrod (Emily) Hayles, Riley Waltman and Blane Waltman and two great-grandchildren, Keaton Waltman and Chevelle Waltman.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Judd Coghin officiating. Burial followed at Lottie Methodist Cemetery.
The family received friends Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 9 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jerrod Hayles, Blane Waltman, Paul Benton, Norman Myer, Steve Caldwell and Jim McCracken.
Honorary pallbearers were Robert Hughes, Bennie Biggs and Bernard Etheridge.

James Edward Pipkin, Sr.
Mr. James Edward Pipkin, Sr., age 86, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Ala. He was a native of Stockton, Ala., former resident of Booneville, Ala. (twenty-four years) and had resided in Nokomis, Ala. since 2000. He was a member of the Huxford Masonic Lodge #779, serving as Master and was the District Lecturer for the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Stockton, Ala. Chapter, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite and a member of the Abba Shrine Temple of Mobile, Ala. He was a member of the Booneville Baptist Church and attended Atmore First Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carrie Pipkin; two brothers, Robert Wendel and Ramsey Pipkin; one sister, Mattie (Verlon) Stewart and two wives, Gail Dunsford Pipkin and Evelyn Flowers McKinley Pipkin.
Mrs. Pipkin is survived by three children, Becky (Hodge) Walker, Catherine (Danny) Jordan and James Jr. (Gwen) Pipkin; three step-children, Diane (Ray) Lassitter, Greg (Patty) McKinley and Randy (Debbie) McKinley; six grandchildren, Brandon (Brooke) Drinkard, Tyler (Erin) Drinkard, Jimmy III (Amanda) Pipkin, Jessica (Brandon) Peed, Amelia Jordan and Destin (Cali) Price; eight step-grandchildren, Krista (Steven) Mauldin, Shane (Amanda) Lassiter, Seth (Kalyn) Lassitter, Heather (Jamie) Jones, Jessica (Heath) Hadley, Miranda (Chase) Reaves, Hunter (Jordan) McKinley and Justin McKinley; seventeen great-grandchildren and twelve step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Atmore First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Don Davis and Bro. Dave Taylor officiating. Burial followed at Booneville Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Honors.
The family received friends Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Drinkard, Tyler Drinkard, Jimmy Pipkin, III, Shane Lassitter, Seth Lassitter and Hunter McKinley.
Honorary pallbearers were Danny Jordan, Hodge Walker, Heath Hadley, Brandon Peed, Chase Reaves, Justin McKinley, Jamie Jones, Auden Lassiter and Eli Godwin.

Ronald Jesse Graves
Mr. Ronald Jesse Graves, age 72, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in Milton, Fla. He was a native of Brewton, Ala. and resided in Flomaton, Ala. most of his life. He was of the Methodist faith.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald J. Graves, Jr.; parents, Grover and Cassie May Graves, Sr.; brothers, Leon Graves, Buford Graves, Lamar Graves and Robert Graves and a sister, Christine Dixon Rolin.
Mr. Graves is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Lula Graves of Flomaton; one son, Denver Graves of Flomaton; three grandsons, Tanner Graves, Cole Graves and Mason Graves; one great-grandson, Noah Graves and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mr. Chadrick Lee Wooten, age 48, of Bratt, Fla., passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Bratt, Fla. He was born in Brewton, Ala. to Joe Frank and Belinda Kay Wooten. He was a welder by trade.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Buford Wooten, Cassie Wooten, Lawrence “Buck” Gohagan and Mable Eicher.
Mr. Wooten is survived by his parents, Joe Frank and Belinda Kay Wooten of Bratt; grandmothers, Letitia Phillips, and Regina Gohagan; three sons, Casey Lane Wooten of Bratt; Ashley Cade Hammonds of Atmore, Ala. and Daylon Gage Wooten of Uriah, A.; one daughter, Raylee Joe Wooten of Walnut Hill, Fla.; one sister, Shane (Heath) Fillmore of Bratt, Fla.; one brother, Brad Wooten (Lyn Weaver) of Bratt; fiancé, Karen Greenwood and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Breceda officiating. Interment followed in Godwin Cemetery in Bratt.

Lynette Hepstall
Mrs. Lynette Hepstall, age 60, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 in Mobile, Ala. She was a native of Louisville, Ky., former resident of Bay Minette, Ala. and had resided in Walnut Hill, Fla. for the past thirteen years. She was the former owner of LJ’s Stop and Shop. She attended Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ray and Ethel Catherine Wilson.
Mrs. Hepstall is survived by her two sons, Calvin (Katlyn) Jacobson of Bratt, Fla. and Clayton (Sarah) Jacobson of Bay Minette, Ala.; one daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Reynolds of Walnut Hill; two brothers, Quint (Sonia) Wilson of Century, Fla. and Dawson (Daphne) Wilson of Orangeburg, S.C.; three sisters, Jackie (Timmy) Bryars of Perdido, Ala., Lenora (Danny) Grissett of Flomaton, Ala. and Michele (Jimmy) Burt of Nokomis, Fla.; five grandchildren, Camden Jacobson, Lilly Harper Jacobson, Tray Mosley, Maddox Reynolds and Maggie Reynolds.

Edna Laura Hendrieth Jones
Mrs. Edna Laura Hendrieth Jones, age 81, of Brewton, Ala., passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born in Escambia County, Brewton, Ala. to the late Clara and Arthur Hendrieth, Sr. She completed her education at Southern Normal High School. She was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church and sang in the Gospel Chorus until her health failed. She assisted in writing lyrics for songs sung by the Gospel Chorus as well was being one of the leading vocalist. She was employed at West Gate Village for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Hendrieth; five sisters, Arthurine Smith, Gazella Stallworth, Cleimentine Richards and two died at birth; brothers, Clarence Hendrieth, Arthur Hendrieth, Jr. and Joe Lewis Hendrieth; one grandson, Graward Leon Robinson.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Johnny Ray Jones; three daughters, Sonya (Willie) Williams, Laganza (Morris) Samuel of Pensacola, Fla., Cynthia (Flint) Fantroy of Blythewood, S. C.; one son, Tyra Madison of Brewton; one brother, Mark (Lillie) Hendrieth of Brewton; one God-daughter, Cheryl Houser; fifteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Betty Jones; devoted caretaker, Clara White; devoted niece, Beverly Stevens; one daughter-in-law, Rose Hendrieth of Milton, Fla.; devoted neighbor, Lois Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Greater Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Straughn, Pastor officiating. Interment followed at Springhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were her grandchildren and friends.
