Halloween fun
The Atmore Community Hospital Therapy Services held a Halloween event designed for children with special needs and their families Monday, October 28. Sometimes children with special needs are unable to participate in the traditional trick-or-treat experience due to the sights, sounds, and smells that accompany Halloween. Strand grant

ACS fund-raiser
The folks at Atmore Christian School held a fish fry fund-raiser Friday, October 18. From all indications, it was wildly successful, raising several thousand dollars for the school.
