Richard Thomas “Dick” Mason
Mr. Richard Thomas “Dick” Mason, age 85, of Huxford, Ala., passed away Wednesday,
December 19, 2018 in Atmore, Ala. He was retired from Yale Rubber Company. He was born in Applegate, Mich. to the late Pierce and Marjorie Aikin Mason. He was a member of Huxford Community of Christ Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Dawn Mason and a brother, Ed Mason.
Mr. Mason is survived by his wife, Carolyn C. Mason of Huxford; son, Ron (Denise)
Kloosterman of McMinnville, Tenn.; daughter, Tami (David) Smith Century, Fla.; step-children, Ricky (Stephanie) Middleton and Johnny (Ginger) Middleton, all of Huxford, Pam (Chris) Scheurer of Theodore, Ala., Barry (Rhonda) Middleton of Bay Minette, Ala.; one brother: Doug (Donna) Mason of Mich.; two sisters, Pat (Gene) Tank and Peg (Gene) Dorman, both of Mich.; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby
Funeral Home Chapel with Seventy Wayne Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Huxford Community of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kent Smith, Kyle Smith, Ron Kloosterman, Ricky Middleton, Johnny Middleton, Travis Middleton and Chase Coleman.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

LW Wainwright
Mr. LW Wainwright, age 74, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Slidell, La. He was a native of Perdido, Ala. and had resided in Pearl River, La. most of his life. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-two years, Rita Faye Wainwright; eight sisters and one brother.
Mr. Wainwright is survived by two sisters, Stella Hadley of Atmore, Ala. and Ella (B) Gibson of Bay Minette, Ala.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lottie Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

William Todd Daughtry
Mr. William Todd Daughtry, age 54, of Saraland, Ala., former resident of Atmore, Ala., passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018. He was born in Poarch, Ala. to the late Lottie McGhee Duerst and W.C. Daughtry. He was a proud member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. He spent most of his life nurturing his family traditions and native heritage. He was an honorable graduate of Escambia County High School where he played baseball and football through his school years. He was a lover of all sports including Nascar. He truly loved our native casino “Wind Creek”.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Autry Delaine Daughtry and nephew, Jim Douzier Roberts.
Mr. Daughtry is survived by his wife, Kimberly Robertson; siblings, Sheila Lowe (Joseph Lowe, UNK), Andy Daughtry, Glenda McCaw, Sarah Rone, Annette Roberts, Jack Daughtry; Chuck Madison; nieces, Leslie Albritton, Valerie Daughtry Fuller, Ashley Lowe Rolin, Tracey Lowe Reed, Stacey Lowe, Melissa Loper, Misty Manac, Lindsay Manac Cook, Amanda Bell; nephews, Shane Daughtry and Brandon Manac; eighteen great-nieces; fourteen great-nephews; great-great nieces, nephews, and the Poarch Creek community.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Quimby Funeral home.
Pall bearers will be Joel Reed, Lewis Reed, Rickey Reed, Scott Weaver, Teddy Snow, and Brian Wall.
