Paul Ray Digmon
Mr. Paul Ray Digmon, age 80, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Atmore. He was born in Atmore to the late Jimmy and Maude Bowman Digmon. He was a retired cabinet instructor from Jeff Davis Community College in Atmore. He served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Gertrude Ahern, Eula White; Lillian Houston, James Digmon, Joe Digmon and Dot Leroy.
Mr. Digmon is survived by his wife, Laverne Byrd Digmon of Atmore; daughter, Teena (George) Peavy of Lake City, Fla.; step-son Butch (Sandy) Lee of Flomaton, Ala. and step- daughter, Pam White of Atmore; sister, Sherry Digmon of Atmore; grandchildren, Daniel White, Ryan Gambel, Kyle Gambel and Dustin Lee; six great-grandchildren and family and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Butch Lee officiating. Burial followed in Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Daniel White, Ryan Gambel, Kyle Gambel, Luke Brown, Ricky White and Caleb Fullerton.
The family received friends Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Robert Irvin Skipper
Mr. Robert Irvin Skipper, age 72, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Atmore. He was born in Repton, Ala. to the late John Leslie and Aurelia Boutwell Skipper. He was retired from law enforcement and the Army National Guard. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Shirley Ann Skipper.
Mr. Skipper is survived by his wife, JoAnn Nicholson Skipper of Atmore; two sons, John (Dawn) Skipper of Atmore and Matthew (Christie) Skipper of Richmond, Va.; one daughter, Kimberly Davis of Montgomery, Ala.; one brother, Roger (Katherine) Skipper of Mobile, Ala.; five grandchildren, Brett, Kristin, Katie, Whitney and Ashley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Terry Grant Hall
Mr. Terry Grant Hall, age 78, of Young Harris, Ga., passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Gainesville, Ga. He retired from farming in 1998 and then worked for a few years with the Escambia County Road Department. He was born in Bratt, Fla. to the late Ulysses Grant and Mildred Evelyn Langford Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Sarah Ann Dortch Hall.
Mr. Hall is survived by his current wife, Connie Ann Davis Hall of Young Harris; one son, Darryl Grant Hall of Charlotte, N.C.; two daughters, Sheila Ann (Ron) O’Farrell of Lake Mary, Fla. and Pamela Hall (Ron) Wilson of Charlotte, N.C.; one step-daughter, Kaitlyn Marie Lewis (Gerry) Steege of Bratt; six grandchildren, Sarah Beth O’Farrell of Lake Mary, Zachary Lamar O’Farrell of Cocoa, Fla., Ethan Langford and Greyson Rawls Wilson of Charlotte, Addisyn Rylee and Wyatt Reed Steege, both of Bratt.
Funeral service were held Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene King officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Clark Hill, II
Clark Hill, II, age 62, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at his residence. He was an operator with Scott Paper Company. He was born in Atmore to the late Dr. Robert Clark Hill and Margaret Hill Lockwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sheila Lockwood Ross.
Mr. Hill is survived by one daughter, Megan Hill of Atmore; three sons, Robert Clark Hill and John Drew Hill, both of Pensacola, Fla. and Timothy Brandon Hall of Atmore; one sister, Deborah L. Soderlind of Pensacola.
Memorial services were held Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Cross Point Church with Bro. Guy Heath officiating.

Brenda L. Hall
Mrs. Brenda L. Hall, age 71, of McCullough, Ala., passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at her residence. She was a homemaker. She was born to the late Walter B. and Bonnie McNeil Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Willie Frank Hall.
Mrs. Hall is survived by one son, William Allen Hall of Huxford, Ala.; three daughters,Vicky (Don) Williams of McCullough, Ala., Lisa (Ricky) Ward of Excel, Ala. and Michelle (Claude) Turberville of Saraland, Ala.; one brother, Wayne (Diane) Johnson of Atmore, Ala.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 23, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don McDonald officiating. Interment followed in McCullough Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Cody Hall, Bo Ward, Jesse Ward, Timmy Sims, Brian Tarver, and Dakota Barlow.
Honorary pallbearers were Terrell “Tink” Thomas, Don Williams, Ricky Ward, Gunter Myers and Claude Turberville.

Jesse J. Mulder
Mr. Jesse J. Mulder, age 77, of Flomaton, Ala., passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Atmore, Ala. He was born in Canoe, Ala. to the late James Ralph and Viola Powell Mulder. He worked with timber as a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy K. Mulder; a son, Thomas Christopher Agerton and a grandson, Brandon Christopher Agerton.
Mr. Mulder is survived by one son, Keith (Melinda) Agerton of Ponchatoula, La.; one daughter, Tonya (Tony) Smith of Deatsville, Ala., one brother, Robert O’Neal (Virginia) Mulder of Laurel, Miss.; three sisters, Doris M. Jones and Thelma Baker, both of Atmore, Louise (Larry) Hadley of Rabun, Ala.; four grandchildren, Khristian Agerton, Morgan Hadley, Taylor Smith and Tanner Smith.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. from Unity Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Long and Bro. John Johnson officiating. Interment followed in Sardis Baptist Cemetery.
The family received friends Friday, November 23, 2018 from 10 until service time at 11 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church.

Mrs. Alice Robinson Smith, age 87, former native of Camden, Ala. (Wilcox County) passed away at her residence in Cleveland, Ohio.
Memorial services were held Saturday, November 25, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Pernel Jones Funeral Home in Cleveland. Her devoted and beloved grandson, Minister De`Marcous Moton served as Eulogist.

Alvin Johnson
Mr. Alvin Johnson, age 66, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was born to Melvin Johnson and Ervia Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eunice Johnson Brown and sister, Mildred Lee.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his son, Michael (Shannika) Johnson of Atmore, Ala.; one brother, Ervin (Danise) Lee; sisters, Dorothy (Ray) Marshall, Earnestine (Willie) Barron, Annette Lee and devoted sister, Cindy (Larry Lee) along with a host of nieces and nephews; special niece, Darnell Marshall and devoted nephew, Rodney Lee.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Monroe Tucker, Jr., Pastor, officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers and flower bearers were his family and friends.

Twyla Watkins Watson
Mrs. Twyla Watkins Watson, age 72, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was born to Jim Tim Watkins, Sr. and Louise Jordan Watkins. She joined Fannie Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She was a 1965 graduate of Southern Normal High School. She worked as a chef for twenty-six years at Vandenberg Air Force Base.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one son, Kelvin Watkins; two brothers, Hugh B. Watkins and Jim Tim Watkins, Jr. and a host of uncles.
Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Dave Watson; four children, Terrance (Carla) Watson, Benita Faye Watson of West Richland, Wash., Pamela Watson, Stephanie Watson of Lompoc, Calif.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva Watkins of Pittsburg, Pa. and Celia Ann Watkins of Flomaton, Ala.; one aunt, Carrie Watkins of Century, Fla. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Fannie Missionary Baptist Church, Flomaton, Ala., with Pastor Hiriam Stanton, officiating. Interment followed in Fanny and Damascus Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James McKinney, Dewayne Robinson, family and friends.
Flower bearers were family and friends.
