Jay Kenny Milstid
Mr. Jay Kenny Milstid, age 39, of Poarch, Ala., passed away September 23, 2018. He was born in Atmore, Ala.
He is preceded in death by his father Jay Kenneth Milstid; grandfather, Earl Jackson and grandmother, Marie Ramer.
Mr. Milstid is survived by his mother, Dona Pearl Jackson (Jess Taylor and his grandmother Joyce Jackson, all of Poarch; his children, Samantha Cain (Andrew Crenshaw) and Jacob McGhee, all of Atmore, Tyler Milstid of Pine Grove, Ala., Kenneth Earl Milstid of Latham, Ala. Skylyn Milstid of Atmore, AL. a sister, Joyce Marie Milstid (Greg Rolin) of Atmore and a step brother Will (Lachlan) Taylor of Citronelle, Ala.; grandchildren, Malachi Brooks, Kylar Crenshaw and Emery Crenshaw; two aunts, Linda (Lee) Hiebert of Atmore and Rachel (Jimmy) Varner of Latham; two special cousins, Kyanne, Cheyanne Hadley and seven nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 3 p.m. from Perdido Church of God with Bro. Scott Brooks, Bro. William Rolin and Bro. Bo Bell officiating. Burial followed in Judson Creek Indian Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jeremy McGhee, Jonathan Boutwell, Clay Quinn, Stevie Carpenter, Ron Marshall, John Sells, David Sells.
Honorary pallbearers were cousins and family.

Brad Stinson
Mr. Brad Stinson, age 42, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 in Atmore, Ala. He was a native of Norfolk, Va., former resident of Enterprise, Ala., and has resided in Atmore, AL since 2008. He was a 1994 graduate of Enterprise High School, 1998 graduate of Auburn University, and 2003 graduate of Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. He was an avid quail and deer hunter, and he shot skeet growing up. At the age of 14, he was the Alabama State Champion. He also shot at the Jr. World Competition in Massachusetts, Texas, and California and was invited to the Olympic Training Camp in Colorado Springs, Colo. in 1993, where he was invited to join the USA Olympic Team. He was a member of the Enterprise Rifle Team and ROTC Program. Since 2010, he had been an Assistant Attorney General with the Poarch Band of Creek Indians primarily managing all litigation for the Tribe and all Tribal entities. He also served as the Tribe’s prosecutor and liaison to many outside agencies that deal with law enforcement, including district attorneys’ offices and the United States Attorney’s offices for the Southern and Middle District of Alabama, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
Mr. Stinson is survived by his parents, Charles Byron and Barbara June Stinson of Enterprise,; wife of fourteen years, Lori Madison Stinson of Atmore; two daughters, Bradleigh Anne Stinson and Bailey Catherine Stinson, both of Atmore; grandmother, Evelyn Jones of Enterprise; aunts and uncles, Patricia (Michael) Green of St. Mary’s, Ga. and Rick (Sherrie) Jones of New Brockton, Ala.; two cousins, Michelle (Alex) Apotsos of Williamstown, Ma. and Jeslyn Jones of New Brockton.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Patterson officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family received friends Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Atmore.
Pallbearers were Justin Beasley, Alex Grimes, Kenneth Boley, Charles Dauphin, Brian Martin, and Cade Langham.

Anita Faye Upton
Mrs. Anita Faye Upton, age 73, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in Mobile, Ala.
She was a native of Pensacola, Fla., former resident of Molino, Fla. and has resided in Flomaton, Fla. since1971. She was manager for the Mt. Zion Chapel Baptist Church Food Kitchen and a member of the Mt. Zion Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Callie Patrick; son, Jeff Upton; three brothers, Melvin Patrick, Lamar Patrick and Leon Patrick, and one sister, Bessie Bondurant.
Mrs. Upton is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Leo Upton of Flomaton; one son, Eric “Teg” Upton of Flomaton; one daughter, Tammy Lynn Upton of Jay, Fla.; one daughter-in-law, Michelle Upton of Milton, Fla.; two sisters, Geneva Edmonson and Dorothy Sellers, both of Molino; two grandchildren, Tristan Upton and Tanner Upton both of Milton and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Peebles officiating. Burial followed at Little Escambia Baptist Cemetery.
The family received friends Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Infant Judson Scott Caraway passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in Brewton, Ala.
Judson is survived by his parents, Anthony and Jessica Caraway; paternal grandparents, Tim and Tiwania Caraway; maternal grandparents, Ken and Andrea McCray; parental great-grandparents, James and Judy Welch and Harold and Ruby Fretwell.

William Travis Gunn
Mr. William Travis Gunn, age 29, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 in Pensacola, Fla. He was a native of Pensacola and had resided in Walnut Hill, Fla. for most of his life. He was a 2008 graduate of Judy Andrews High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Earnestine Gunn and Charles and Janie Fuqua.
Mr. Gunn is survived by his father, Mark Gunn of Walnut Hill; mother, Tracey L. Gunn of Pensacola; fiancé, Shawna Mason of Pensacola; one son, Cableaux Gunn of Calif.; one daughter, Saoirse Gunn; two sisters, Crystal Ballew of Pensacola and Abbie Hockett of Perdido, Ala.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
