The second phase of the signage changeover from Atmore’s Winn Dixie store to the new Ramey’s location was completed May 2. The purchase by Ramey’s, a Mississippi-based grocery store chain, of the local business will be consummated when the store reopens on Wednesday, May 9. The change ends a 60-plus years local presence of Winn Dixie, which evolved nearly 30 years ago from Kwik Chek.
