Alan Blake Clark, Sr.
Mr. Alan Blake Clark, Sr., age 70, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 in Mobile, Ala. He was a native and resident of Pensacola, Fla. (most of his life), former resident of Gulf Breeze, Fla. and has resided in Booneville, Ala. for the past thirteen years. He was of the Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Clark; one step-daughter, Kimberly Dawn Suggs McClain and parents, Albert and Lillian Clark.

Mr. Clark is survived by his son, Alan Blake (Rikkie English) Clark, Jr. of Booneville, Ala.; daughter, Angelique B. Clark of Booneville and seven grandchildren, Marie Clark, Lilee Clark, Destiny Clark, Drake Ryan, Blake Ryan, Shelby McClain and Amanda McClain.

Memorial services were held Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Warren Dean Cooper
Mr. Warren Dean Cooper, age 60, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Pensacola, Fla. He was a native of Pensacola and resided in Cantonment, Fla. for most of his life. He was a member of the IBEW 904 (Gulfport, MS), Brotherhood of the Fleas and the Farm Hill Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Max Cooper and two grandchildren, Allie May Cooper and Ava Cooper.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his mother, Ruby Cooper of Cantonment; one son, Warren Dean Cooper, Jr. of Ga. one daughter, Nikki Cooper of Daphne, Ala.; two brothers, Daniel Lee (Debra) Cooper and John Donald (Lisa) Dale, all of Pensacola; two sisters, Wanda Jean Massey and Pamela Ann Cooper, both of Cantonment and two grandchildren, Sydney Cooper and William Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lottie Baptist Church with Bro. Clyde Hughes officiating. Burial followed at Presley Cemetery.

The family received friends Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at Lottie Baptist Church.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Woods, Donnie Leahey, Johnney Cooper, Daniel Cooper, Todd Crider and Andy Cooper.

Lelia Eulalia Hadley
Mrs. Lelia Eulalia Hadley, age 93, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her home in Perdido, Ala. She was a native and life-long resident of Perdido. She was a member of the Splinter Hill Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Hadley; two sisters, Erlene Hicks and Flora Peacock and one brother, Elishia Thomley.

Mrs. Hadley is survived by her two sons, Johnny (Willene) Hadley and O’Neal (Deborah) Hadley, both of Perdido; three sisters, Jean (Max) White of Perdido, Frankie Lou (Wendel) Hall of Bay Minette, Ala. and Aliene Quinley of Whitehouse Fork, Ala.; one brother, Sylvester (Joyce) Thomley of Perdido; two grandsons, Kevin (Jonie) Hadley and Shane (Alexis) Hadley, both of Perdido ; three great grandchildren, Isaiah Hadley, Coleman Dove and Trenton Hadley and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Angelo Thomley and Bro. Sammie Thomley officiating. Burial followed at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.

The family received friends Friday, February 9, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Kevin Hadley, Shane Hadley, Elishia Thomley, Greg Hall, Norris Hall and Ken Hall.

Elbert Myrle Wright
Mr. Elbert Myrle Wright, age 84, of Pensacola, Fla., passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2018 in Pensacola, Fla. He was a retired Aeronautical Engineer. He was born in Ripley, Miss. to the late B.C. and Jewel Shelton Wright.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dale Wright; brothers, Jimmy Wright and Charles Wright; one sister, Margorie Roffman.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Marsha White Wright of Pensacola; sons, Darl Wright of Montana, Christopher W. Wright of Arkansas; two step-sons, Timothy Lovell of Monroe, Ga., Matthew Lovell of Dupont, Wash.; three daughters, Brenda Tallon of Montana, Janet Fife of Washington, Jean Jennings of Norwich, Kans.; two sisters, Dot Windham and Shirley Edison, both of Miss., numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Saturday February 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. in Hosey Presley Cemetery at Nokomis, Ala. with Bro. Butch Lee officiating.

Family received friends Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Lewis Gaines Strawbridge
Mr. Lewis Gaines Strawbridge, age 74, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at his residence. He was part of the family business, Strawbridge Machine Shop. He was born in Atmore to the late Thomas Garland and Alice Estelle Millican Strawbridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Dylan Strawbridge;  brothers, Thomas Priddy Strawbridge, James Edward Strawbridge, Sr. and Ronald Strawbridge; sisters, Mary Wadweema Guyton and Sylvia JoAnn Johnson.

Mr. Strawbridge is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Hazel Smith Strawbridge of Atmore; two sons, Keith (Ashley) Strawbridge of Atmore and. Michael Strawbridge of Huxford, Ala.; one sister, Sue (Clarence) Roley of Bay Minette, Ala.; one brother, Ollie (Rachel) Strawbridge of Navarre, Fla.; grandchildren, Keely and Braylee Strawbridge.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby

Funeral Home Chapel with Ollie Strawbridge and Johnny Guyton officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were David Strawbridge, Brandon Smith, Tommy Strawbridge, Johnny Guyton, Troy Baker and Brian Huskey.

Charles Thomas Huffines
Mr. Charles Thomas Huffines, age 76, of Walnut Hill, Fla., passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born to the late Clarence Huffines and Jewel Webb Huffines on in Franklin, Ky. He served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt during the Vietnam War.

He was in the trucking business for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jenene Farmer.

Mr. Huffines is survived by his wife, Sandra Thrower Huffines of Walnut Hill; two daughters, Kimberly Flurnoy of Atmore, Ala. and Shanna Huffines of Walnut Hill; one son, Doug (Leah) Vickery, Jr. of Flomaton, Ala.; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow with military honors.

Active pallbearers were his grandsons.

Sterling E. Fancher
Mr. Sterling E. Fancher, age 99, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018. He was born Philadelphia, Miss. in 1919. He has been a resident of Atmore, Ala. for the past sixty-two years. He and his wife taught school together for over thirty years and retired from Ernest Ward High School. He was a member First Baptist Church for over fifty years. He was a World War II Veteran and served in the South Pacific in the medical detachment.

He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-eight years, Mildred Cotton Fancher of Vicksburg, Miss.; one son, Eddie T. Fancher; his mother and father; three sisters; and two brothers.

Mr. Fancher is survived by one daughter, Julianna F. Hardy (Earl) of Atmore, one son, Bill Fancher (Laura) of Daphne, Ala.; five grandchildren, Alaina McDonald, April Thrasher (Frank), John F. Hawkins (Rachel), Liz Kolbe (Jason) and Eddie C. Fancher; seven great-grand-children: Robin Rawson, Caleb McDonald, William S. Hawkins, Kadence Kolbe, Hudson Kolbe, Tanner Hammond, and Riece Hammond.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 1 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Arnold Hendrix officiating. Interment  followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family received friends Thursday, February 15, 2018 from noon until service time at 1 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Delores Ann Brown
Delores Ann Brown, age 60, of Atmore, Ala., passed Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1 p.m.at Gaines Chapel A.M.E Church.
