Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Brewton man this morning (Tuesday, Mar. 7).
Trooper reports indicate that Richard Adam White, 38, lost his life when the 2006 Hyundai Tiburon he was driving went off U.S. 31, about a mile north of Loxley, and overturned. The crash occurred at 12:50 a.m.
White, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, troopers reported.
Although the circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation, preliminary investigation indicates that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
