A Medstar Air Care helicopter sits on the helipad at Atmore Community Hospital, the copter’s new base of operations. The emergency medical services company recently signed a lease with local healthcare officials to serve as the hospital’s primary, around-the-clock air ambulance. Medstar is currently leasing space inside ACH for its flight crews while a modular headquarters is being built on hospital grounds.
