Leadership Atmore’s Class of 2019 will conduct one of its biggest annual fundraisers this Thursday, when Chicken on Church returns.
Tickets for the third annual barbecued chicken feast are still available, said Samantha Bennett, a spokeswoman for the class.
“Tickets are $25 each, and you can see any Leadership Atmore Class of 2019 graduate to buy them,” she said. “There may be some available at the venue, but our plan is to sell them all in advance.”
The chicken-que will be held at the Church Street Incubator, 207 East Church Street, in downtown Atmore. The city roadway will be closed for the duration of the event.
“We start serving at 5:00 and we end at 7:00,” Bennett said. “We’ll have tables, so anybody who wants to can eat there, but we will also have to-go boxes.”
All proceeds from the annual fundraiser will go back into the community through Leadership Atmore’s community projects.
