Gaines Chapel A.M.E. Church will have the Annual Missionary Day observance Sunday, April 22 at the 11 a.m. worship hour. Atmore native, E. Ann Mason Clemons will be the guest speaker. The missionary general theme is “Invisible: Oppression A Global Awareness” and the local theme is “Enough is Enough.” Pastor, Rev. Amos Smith, the Missionary president, Theresa White, officers and members invite everyone.

Mt. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating their Church Anniversary Program Sunday, April 22 at 3 p.m. Everyone is invited. Sis. Jessie Fisher, chairperson. Rev. Dennis K. Stephens.

Pine Barren Baptist Church will have Homecoming May 6 with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and Worship Service at 10:45 a.m. The Smith Family Singers from Pace will provide music. Brother C. L. The City Wide prayer at Destiny Worship Center continues each Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. This prayer is for peace, unity and love to return to our City.

The congregations of Bethel and McRae Street United Methodist churches will continue an interdenominational Bible study each Wednesday evening on the book of Philippians. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a covered dish supper with Bible study following. You’re invited to bring your Bible and a covered dish and join the study. All will be held at Bethel UMC, 5191 Highway 21, Atmore.

Liberty Church, 200 3rd Ave., is holding a Bible study on the book of Romans Wednesdays at 10 a.m. All are invited.

Calvary Deliverance Temple has singing every second Friday night beginning at 6 p.m.

Trinity Episcopal Church celebrates with either a Holy Eucharist service or Morning Prayer every Sunday at 9 a.m. On fifth Sundays, the Men of Trinity host brunch following the service.

St. Anna’s Episcopal Church celebrates Holy Eucharist on Sunday at 9 a.m., Sunday school at 10:30 a.m., and Compline / Bible Study the second Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

The congregation of St. Andrews Anglican Church, located on the corner of Pine and Presley streets, invites you to worship with them EACH Sundays at 10 a.m. The Rev. Thomas E. Raines celebrates the Holy Communion service.
