At the Wednesday, March 7 meeting of the Lions Club, Nancy Karrick received the Gold Centennial Lion pin for recruiting and retaining members during a special membership recruitment drive for the 100th anniversary of Lions.
Guest speaker at the meeting was Justin Stabler, PCI Policy Analyst, who spoke at length about how Gaming, CIE and PCI tribal leadership have realized a concerted effort of diversifying outside the local gaming industry. Most of their new holdings have been in the hospitality arena acquiring hotels, other casino campuses internationally, and various other business interests.
