  The Escambia Academy administration and faculty opened the schoolhouse doors Thursday, March 9, and invited the community inside. The school’s open house provided an opportunity for families who might be considering the school to get an up close and personal look. The Escambia Academy varsity baseball team took on the Escambia Alumni team Saturday, February 11. The final score was 14-14. EA weightlifters break 3 state records
Escambia Academy’s 35-member weightlifting team captured seven individual state championships, including three lifters who broke state records, while seven others were either runners-up or took third place in the AISA Region 3 Weightlifting Championships, held at Pickens Academy this week. Trae Lee (heavyweight), Kris Brown (middleweight) and Chase Bell (lightweight) each were named outstanding lifter overall in his classification.
