There was no shortage of candidates seeking to fill the head football coach-athletic director vacancy at Escambia County High School. Grant will allow choir members to dress in style
  Thanks to donations and a recent commitment by two local banks, Escambia County High School’s choir will be a part of Festival at Carnegie Hall in April. Giving back
Velma Jackson-Wilkins, Escambia County High School Class of 1972, stopped by the school Tuesday, January 3, to drop off a gift. She donated $500 toward the choir’s trip to Carnegie Hall in New York in April. Jackson-Wilkins resides in Manhattan and hopes to take the group to dinner while they’re in the Big Apple.
