Jabe Dawe, junior quarterback for Escambia Academy, received an elite honor Saturday, March 24, at the Scout STEP IT UP Football Camp in Dothan. Dawe was named the Top Quarterback at the elite camp. Escambia Academy’s football players, coaches, cheerleaders, band and dance team members, and other support personnel received their 2017 AISA Class 2A state championship rings during a March 15 banquet held at Wind Creek. The ring presentations highlighted an evening that also included dinner, video clips from the title game and the season, and recognition of the school’s 2014 state championship team.
