Fountain named headmaster at EA; Heigle resigns
Officials of Escambia Academy have issued the following statement regarding the school’s administration:   “The Board of Directors of Escambia Academy has announced that Assistant Headmaster Hugh Fountain has been elevated to the position of Headmaster.   “Former Headmaster Wade Heigle resigned his post as headmaster, effective immediately.” For more details on the story, read Wednesday’s Atmore News.

EA’s state-title pep rally tonight, send-off tomorrow
A championship pep rally will be held tonight at 6 p.m. for Escambia Academy’s football team as it readies for its state AISA championship contest against Autauga Academy. Game tickets will be available for purchase at the pep rally, and those who attend are encouraged to brings signs and shakers.
