Dawe excels at football camp
Jabe Dawe, junior quarterback for Escambia Academy, received an elite honor Saturday, March 24, at the Scout STEP IT UP Football Camp in Dothan. Dawe was named the Top Quarterback at the elite camp. He has now been invited to Gunslinger Challenge in Knoxville which takes place in May and Air Attack QB Challenge In Miami in July. Lords (and Ladies) of the Ring
Escambia Academy’s football players, coaches, cheerleaders, band and dance team members, and other support personnel received their 2017 AISA Class 2A state championship rings during a March 15 banquet held at Wind Creek. The ring presentations highlighted an evening that also included dinner, video clips from the title game and the season, and recognition of the school’s 2014 state championship team. EA falls in state hoops title game
The Escambia Academy basketball squad’s dream of an AISA Class AA state championship ended Monday (February 5) in Montgomery, when top-ranked Macon East won its second straight title with a 67-42 decision over the foul-plagued Cougars. Fouls restricted the aggressiveness of All-Tournament Team selection Neikel Robinson, who fouled out, and MJ Jones, who picked up four infractions before the fourth period began, and the Cougars could never get on track.…
