Staff named to Hall of Fame
Five area residents will be inducted into the Atmore Area Hall of Fame later this month. Billy Conn Madison, chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee, released the names of this year’s inductees: William America, Earl Etheridge, Dr. William T. Hall, Howard Shell, and Eddie Staff. The Atmore City Council gave official recognition Monday (April 10) to a group of people who don’t actively seek recognition. Woman’s car hits trees, overturns
A Frisco City woman had to be cut out of her vehicle after her car ran off a rural road and struck two trees before overturning early Saturday, April 8.
