ECMS students participate in bicentennial art competition
All students at Escambia County Middle School were given the opportunity to participate in the State Superintendent’s Visual Arts Exhibit and Bicentennial Celebration. Student presents Patriots’ Pen essay to veterans
Each year, Veterans of Foreign Wars sponsors the Patriot’s Pen Essay youth essay contest. The essay contest encourages students in grades six through eight to examine America’s history, along with their own experiences in modern American society, by drafting a 300- to 400-word essay, expressing their views based on a patriotic theme chosen by the VFW Commander-in-Chief.
