Coastal Growers LLC hosted a group of congressional staffers from Washington, D.C. Wednesday, August 18. The staffers represented congressmen and -women from the southeast district. CG President and CEO Dirk Lindsey gave the group an overview of the company, its benefit to growers and the economic impact on the area. American Legion Post 90 recently awarded Jack Wright, at left, an Honorary Membership for Life at the Post and presented his 65-Year Continuous Membership Pin.
