Keeping the grill hot

Nearly 900 people bought $10 lunch plates of the 1,000 plates prepared, leaving enough to feed firefighters, sheriff’s deputies and other volunteers.

Walker retires from Navy
Special to Atmore News On 30 July, Melissa Walker retired from the Department of the Navy with over 31 years of Federal service. Walker is a native of Atmore and a graduate of Escambia County High School.She began her career with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), as a bank examiner.
