Collecting shoeboxes

The first day of collection for this year’s Operation Christmas Child was held Monday afternoon, November 18.
The local team was at Grace Fellowship and received almost 400 shoeboxes.
If you haven’t filled a shoebox but still want to, you’ve got time.
There are a number of days and times scheduled:
Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1-4 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 21, 1-3 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 22, 1-3 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 23, 9-11 a.m.
Sunday, Nov. 24, 12-2 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 25, 8-10 a.m.
Drop-off location is Grace Fellowship, 1412 Nashville Avenue, Atmore.
If you are not a shopper or just don’t have time to fill a shoebox, consider the following.
The cost for shipping one box is $9. Perhaps you’d like to donate the money to ship one or several boxes.
New this year is the online virtual store. You can select items and pack your shoebox online, and you can personalize your gift with your letter and photo. Your shoebox will be packed and sent for you for a suggested donation of $25.
