Woods, Roley to marry

Allison Woods and Tyler Roley

Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy D. Woods of Atmore are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Allison Victoria Woods of Atmore, to Tyler DeWayne Roley of Atmore.
The bride elect’s maternal grandparents are Ida Mary McLaurin Black of Jay Florida, formerly of Franklin, Alabama, and the late James O. “Bud” Black. Miss Woods’ paternal grandparents are Raymond V. Woods of Uriah, Alabama, and the late Mary Genita Thomas Woods. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Henry and Letha Watts Black of Franklin, Alabama, and the late Walter and Maiselle Peacock Woods of Uriah, Alabama.
Miss Woods is a 2014 graduate of Escambia Academy. She attended Jefferson Davis Community College and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology from Troy University.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth D. Roley of McDavid, Florida. Mr. Roley’s maternal grandparents are Jerry and Brenda Wiggins of McDavid, Florida. His paternal grandparents are Jim Roley of Bratt, Florida, and the late Mickey Roley. He is the great-grandson of the late Clifton Wiggins and Dorris Wiggins of Century, Florida, and the late Joseph Jefferson Roley and Anna Mae Roley of Century, Florida.
Mr. Roley is a 2013 graduate of Northview High School. He attended Faulkner State Community College and received his BS of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama in 2017. Mr. Roley received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama in 2019. He is currently employed as a physical therapist with Andrews Institute at Jay Hospital in Jay, Florida.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Brooks Memorial Baptist Church in Atmore. The reception will follow in the church fellowship. Friends and family are invited.
