If you’ve ever wondered how to train your dragon, you could have found out last Friday night, August 2, as United Bank presented movie night at Heritage Park. The feature film was “How to Train Your Dragon, The Hidden World.”
A downpour earlier in the day and late afternoon gray skies kept some folks away, but everyone who attended enjoyed the evening. There’s something special about watching a movie under the stars.
Admission was free and the show started at dusk. Popcorn and water were provided at no charge, and Kona Ice was available.
In addition, the Pride of Atmore board sold Conecuh sausage dog and hot dog plates as a fundraiser for downtown revitalization.
As an added treat, the nearby splash pad stayed open until 10 p.m.
