Violent two-vehicle collision on Alabama 21
Atmore and Poarch police, along with Alabama State Troopers, were at 7 p.m. still at the scene of a violent, two-vehicle crash that happened around 6 p.m. today (Sunday, Aug. 18), about a mile south of Wind Creek Casino, on the rain-soaked southbound lanes of Alabama 21.   Details are sketchy at this time, but three ambulances, their lights flashing and sirens sounding, were seen racing from the wreck scene…

RP buys new mower thanks to WCA
Wind Creek Atmore continues to contribute to local entities with their popular Ticket In Ticket Out (TITO) program. The latest recipient was Rachel Patterson Elementary School which received a check for $10,865. Principal John Brantley, holding check, said the school purchased a much needed new mower.
