Three incumbents and nine challengers will be on the Poarch Creek Tribal Council ballot with the election set for Saturday, June 1. Voting will take place at the Pickrell House (on Pow Wow grounds), from
8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The three offices on the ballot are as follows:
Tribal Secretary – incumbent Charlotte Meckel; challenger Candace Fayard.
Tribal Treasurer – incumbent Eddie L. Tullis; challengers Amy Bryan, Sandy Hollinger.
At-Large Council Member – incumbent Dewitt Carter; challengers Breiah Adams, Charles “Bo” Bray, Chance Jackson, Kevin D. McGhee, Johnathan O’Barr, Megan Young.
