BOE approves personnel recommendations

The Escambia County Board of Education approved the following personnel recommendations by Superintendent John Knott at the board meeting Monday, April 22.
Retirement
1. Terri Parkinson, secretary / bookkeeper, Flomaton High School, effective June 1, 2019
2. Alice Hall, seven-hour custodian, Huxford Elementary School, effective July 1, 2019
3. Connie Waller, seven-hour custodian, Huxford Elementary School, effective July 1, 2019
4. Brenda Taylor, elementary teacher, W.S. Neal Elementary School, effective June 1, 2019
5. Sally Denton, pre-k teacher, W.S. Neal Elementary School, effective June 1, 2019
6. Lois Miller, math teacher, W.S. Neal Middle School, effective June 1, 2019
7. Gail Miller, bus driver, Brewton Bus Shop, effective June 1, 2019
Employment
1. Angela Lee, teacher, Escambia County Middle School, effective August 5, 2019
2. Ashley Trawick, counselor, Escambia County High School, to work up to an additional 20 days, effective June 17, 2019 through July 31, 2019 (to be paid at her daily rate) (Title I Funds)
3. Randall Jackson, assistant principal, Escambia County High School, to work up to an additional 20 days, effective June 5, 2019 through July 22, 2019 (to be paid at his daily rate) (Title I Funds)
4. Jennifer Hall, counselor, Pollard McCall Junior High School, to work up to an additional 10 days, effective June 3, 2019 through July 31, 2019 (to be paid at her daily rate) (Title I Funds)
