Area students participate in All-State Choir

March 7 through 9, several students from the area participated in the Alabama All-State Choir Festival at Samford University in Birmingham.
Any choir student (in the entire state) can try out to make this choir in November. Generally, one out of four actually make the choir.
Conrad Weber from Escambia County High School (ECHS) and Escambia County Middle School (ECMS) and Sherrie Hursh with Atmore Christian School (ACS) traveled with students from their schools as well as students from Brewton Middle School (BMS) and W.S. Neal Middle School (WSNMS) in East Brewton.
Participating in the All-State Choir were Kasiyah Atkins (ECMS), Delaneny Gurley (ECMS), Brooklyn Hursh (ACS), Skyler Hursh (ACS), Abby Landis (ACS), Mariah Moore (ECHS), Gunner Parker (WSNMS), Ava Penner (ECMS), Shamirica Rankins (ECMS), Sasha Sumerlin (ECMS), Jadon Torres (ACS), Abby Weber (ACS), Jace Weber (ACS).
