Odoms celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Pastor William Doug and Mrs. Pamela Odom will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary with an open house and barbecue dinner in their honor on Saturday, February 23, beginning at 5 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall of Atmore Baptist Temple, 1707 South Main Street, Atmore.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend.
The Odoms were married in Dillon, South Carolina on February 20, 1969. Pastor Doug is a 1984 graduate of Arlington Baptist Bible College. He was ordained into the ministry in 1980 and served as pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church of Troy, Missouri from 1987 to 1991 before becoming pastor of Atmore Baptist Temple in 1992. Pam has been employed as a Christian school teacher since 1980.
The two have resided in Atmore since 1992, where Pastor Doug continues to serve as pastor of Atmore Baptist Temple and Pam is employed as a teacher at Temple Christian Academy.
They have three children, Mrs. Tammy White of Loveland, Colorado; Bro. Kevin Odom of Atmore and Mrs. Angel Lister of Wetumpka, Alabama; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
