Smith Tractor Company recently held a John Deere Baler Clinic at its Atmore location. The February 12 event drew farmers from surrounding areas.
The clinic included representatives from John Deere and Ambraco who were on hand to demonstrate the setup, operation and special features of John Deere’s new piece of equipment, the 460M John Deere Round Baler.
The farmers were given a hands-on demonstration, full walk around of the baler and a meal of barbecue from the John Deere staff.
“We are happy to offer this event and treat the area farmers to a great demonstration of our latest baler and to some good food,” STC General Manager Dewayne Williams said. “We want to show our appreciation to them and offer them the best in the industry.”
The new baler features a Bale Trak Pro monitor-controller, exclusive Diamond Trough triple weave belts, exclusive Cover-edge surface wrap option, mega wide HC feed system with a pre-cutter for silage and standard dry hay bales.
