The Atmore Lions Club met Wednesday, February 6, at Atmore Community Hospital.
After dining on fried chicken, members listened to Judd Coley’s guest, Maria Martin, as she told about the life of a diabetic child after he/she leaves Camp Seale Harris. The camp serves to build a bridge between camp and home, giving campers life skills to use when they leave camp and return home.
President Candace Wooten gave an update on the district convention which will be held in Atmore the weekend of February 22 and solicited help from club members. A get-well card was signed to be delivered to Lion Walter Butler.
