PHD Realty wins Lions Club golf tourney
Teams sponsored by PHD Realty, Popeyes and Maxwell Construction took the top three places in the 2018 Atmore Lions Club Charity Golf Tournament, played March 16 at Atmore Country Club. Lawnmower-pickup collision claims Uriah man
A March 15 crash between a riding lawnmower and a pickup truck claimed the life of a Uriah man who was retired after a lengthy career as a basketball coach and economics teacher at Frisco City High School. New police cars
Atmore Police Department officials recently took delivery of five new Ford Explorer patrol vehicles that were custom built to include special emergency packages. The purchase, approved by the city council in September 2017, was from Johnson Ford, which submitted the only bid. The Explorers cost $26,668.08 apiece, a total expenditure of $133,340.40.
