Jim Clifton Hall

Mr. Jim Clifton Hall, age 59, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 in Mobile, Ala. He was employed with Clarke-Mobile County Gas District for thirteen years. He was born in Atmore, Ala. to the late Herbert Hoover and Nancy Janelle Beasley Hall. He was an avid fishermen.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Kathy W. Hall of Jackson, Ala.; one son, Jace Clifton (Natasha) Hall of Shalimar, Fla.; one daughter, Lana (Michael) Nelson of Ogden, Utah; one brother, Tim, H. Hall of Oak Grove, Fla.; one sister; Janet (David) Womack of Atmore; five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Nelson officiating. Interment followed in Whitfield Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Jay, Fla.

The family received friends Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Willie G. Lee, Jr.

Mr. Willie G. Lee, Jr., age 66, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Atmore Nursing Care Center.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time but will be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel LLC.

Donald Ray Moye

Mr. Donald Ray Moye, age 56, of Atmore, Ala. passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in Atmore. He was a gas technician with West Escambia Utilities. He was born in Atmore to the late Dewey Lee and Jenelle King Moye. He attended West End Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Moye is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Wendy Coleman Moye of Atmore; two daughters, Cierra Moye (Brett) Wilkins of Perdido, Ala. and Amanda

Colleen Moye of Atmore; grandchild, Andi Jenelle Wilkins.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Opal Daphne Jones

Ms. Opal Daphne Jones, age 73, of Bay Minette, Ala., passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in Bay Minette. She was a homemaker. She was born in Pensacola, Fla. November 29, 1945 to the late Jerry Lee and Montez Gulley Jones, Sr.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Jones is survived by a daughter, Gloria Jean Jones of Pensacola; three

grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, and Deonte; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Lee Jones, Jr of Ga.; two sisters, Geraldine Jones and Lula (William) Jarman, all of Perdido, Ala.

Graveside services were held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at noon in the Perdido Baptist Cemetery with Bro. Robert Klotz officiating. Interment followed.

Active pallbearers were Tremaine Pimperl, Micah Pimperl, Noah Pimperl, Tony Graham, Jerry Johnson and Barry Fullerton.

The family received friends, Saturday December 29, 2018 from 10 until 11 a.m.

at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Perdido Baptist Church Building Fund.

Dalton Orie Morgan 

Mr. Dalton Orie Morgan, age 84, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Pensacola, Fla.

He was a native of Baldwin County, Ala. and had resided most of his life in McDavid, Fla. He was a farmer raising cattle until his death. He was a member of the Florida Cattleman’s Association. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Orie and Maggie Maude Morgan; son, Ricky Morgan; daughter, Gwen Morgan Carter; grandson, Josh Eubanks; three brothers and four sisters.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Carolyn E. Morgan of McDavid; two sons, Keith (Barbara) Morgan of McDavid and Rodney (Charlotte) Morgan of Daleville, Ala.; two daughters, Debbie Morgan Smith of Gulf Shores, Ala. and Sharon Morgan Robbins of Pensacola; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Calhoun officiating. Burial followed at Godwin Cemetery.

The family received friends Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 1until service time at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were John Hardin, Pat McCauley, Len Palmer, Larry Gibson, Mike Gibson and Alan Lowery.

Jeanette Delois Seale Creamer

Mrs. Jeanette Delois Seale Creamer, age 66, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Jay, Fla.  She was a native of Atmore, Ala. and had resided in Bratt, Fla. most of her life. She was co- owner of Creamer Logging. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Marguerite Seale; two sisters, Lucille Butt and Mary McClain and one brother, Clifford Seale.

Mrs. Creamer is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, William Lloyd Creamer, Jr. of Bratt; one son, William Lloyd Creamer, III of Pulaski, Tenn.; one daughter, Tonya Delois Creamer of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three brothers, Lee Verne Seale, Murlon (Margaret) Seale and Floyd (Betty) Seale, all of Atmore; three sisters, Jessie Muriel Swindle of Wawbeek, Ala., Dottie (Charles) West of Ozark, Ala. and Nancy Nelson of Foley, Ala.; six grandchildren; five great- grandchildren and numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Carrie Jean Lee  

LeeMrs. Carrie Jean Lee, age 80, of Mobile, Ala., passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018. She was born in Monroeville to the late John David and Frances Lee Young. She was a faithful and loyal member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church of Mobile, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of fifty-four years, Ozzie Lee

Mrs. Lee is survived by two children, Kimberly Lee of Mobile and son, Kurtney (Treisa) Lee of Spanish Fort, Ala.; five grandchildren, Janay Lee, Jazmin (Carleton) Mayabell, Christina Smith, Angel Smith, and Jeremy Smith; one sister, Dorothy Stevenson; brother-in-law, William (Zina) Bodley; four sisters-in-law, Willie Pearl Robinson, Mary Ann Hill, Cleopatra Bodley and Danny (Samuel) Bettis and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 1761 Dr. Martin Luther King Avenue, Mobile with Reverend Dr. Clyde Maye, Jr, Pastor and Presiding Eulogist.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 4, 2018 at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.

Gaston Lee George, Jr.

Bishop Gaston Lee George, Jr., age 68, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Friday, December 18, 2018. He was born to the late Gaston and Hazel Knight George, Sr. in Escambia County, Ala.

He was a 1969 graduate of Escambia County Training School. After graduating he enlisted into the United States Army. He established and was founder of the True Deliverance Holiness Church in Atmore and was led to Defuniak Springs, Fla. and established Grace and Mercy Deliverance Center. He preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his coming throughout the United States. He was known for his great preaching but he was also considered a Legendary Gospel Singer and guitar instrumentalist of one of the greatest recording quartet vocalists “Southern Echoes” where he wrote and recorded his first CD with “God Going Get You for That.”

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Joe L. George; two sisters, Brenda King and Geraldine Mixon.

Bishop Gaston Lee George, Jr. is survived  by his wife, Pauline W. George; children, Dennis (LaSonja) George, Christina (Eric) McCaskill, Brenda (Anthony) Andrews all of Atmore; two step-children; twelve grandchildren; three sisters, Sue Johnson of Mobile, Ala., Shirley (Arthur) Maye of Evergreen , Ala. and Wanda Faye Crum of Daphne, Ala.; special aunt, Pastor Irma J. Wilson and raised by uncle Elder Leroy (Missionary Lula) Knight, Sr. and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Grace Fellowship with Apostle G. J. Gibbs officiating. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery

Pallbearers were his grandson and nephews.

Flower bearers were his nieces and friends.
