Members of The Canoe Study Club were invited to the beautifully decorated home of Mrs. Rena Graham, on Friday, December 7, 2018, to celebrate the Christmas Season.
As club members gathered, hors d’ oeuvres and a selection of drinks were offered during the social time. Everyone enjoyed visiting and sharing holiday plans prior to being invited into the lovely dining room for a wonderful lunch, followed by delicious cake and coffee.
After lunch, the attendees moved into the living room. No formal meeting was held, but Mrs. Becky McDonald reported that Christmas gifts had been purchased by the club and delivered to residents of Atmore Nursing Center.
The party continued with the singing of Christmas carols and the exchange of gifts. After all the gifts had been opened and admired, members prepared to leave the festive party. Mrs. Graham enjoys making special handmade gifts, and as has become her annual Christmas tradition, she presented a beautiful handmade ornament to each club member as a parting gift.
Everyone left sharing best wishes for a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
Merry Christmas to all of you!
