Frankie Baggett

Mr. Frankie Baggett, 69 of Loxley, Ala., passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 in Mobile, Ala. He was born to the late Claude Hamilton and Rosie Arrington Baggett. He worked for Sun Belt Chemical and worked in the paper mill industry most of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Loxley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy Baggett, Gene Baggett and his sister, Carolyn Baggett.
Mr. Baggett is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Jeanne Johnson Baggett of Loxley; children, Becky Bryan of Atmore, Ala., Neely (Jonathan) Martin of Poarch, Ala., Jason (Kacie) Baggett of Doha, Qatar; Douglas (Stephanie) Baggett of Haughton, La. and a brother Kenneth Baggett of Walnut Hill, Fla.
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeff Copeland officiating. Burial followed in Canoe Freewill Baptist Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Michael Baggett, Gary Baggett, Tim Baggett, Kyle Johnson, Russ Johnson and Brad Kendrick.
The family received friends Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Jean Ann Brouwer Edeker

Mrs. Jean Ann Brouwer Edeker, age 67, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Thursday, December
6, 2018 in Pensacola, Fla. She worked in retail. She was born in Kalamazoo, Mich. to the late James E. and Pearl Brouwer, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Edekerer is survived by husband, Ronnie Carnley of Atmore; son, Joshua
Edeker of Jay, Fla.; step-sons, Robert (Holly) Carnley of Huxford, Ala., Randy
(Alycia) Carnley of Calif.; one brother, Jim Brouwer of Mich., grandchildren, Kahyleb Edeker, Katelyn and Jacob Carnley.

Mrs. Mary Helen Williams Barrow, age 67, of Pensacola, Fl., passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018.

Toni DiAnn Haupert Boutwell

Toni DiAnn Haupert Boutwell, age 64, of Atmore, Ala., passed away December 8, 2018 in Atmore. She was born in Atmore to the late Tony Jacob and Mazie Hanks Haupert. She completed four years of Bible College and became an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. During her ministry she became co-director of Teen Challenge and was very active with New Life for girls. She was a member of Beulah Chapel Assembly of God.

Mrs. Boutwell is survived by her God-children. Heather Hudson Murphy and Joshua Hudson; two sisters, Rose Marie Weaver Gibson and Carolyn Haupert Faust; her nieces and nephews, Cindy Walker and Susan (Josh) Johns, Doyle (Elaine) Weaver, Anthony (Linda) Weaver, Randy (Vickie) Weaver, Mike Weaver, Jimmie Faust, Joey Faust, Micky Faust; two great-nephews, Christopher (Melissa) Weaver and Bryant (Christina) Weaver; special friends and caregivers Polly Johnson, Doris Godwin, Gwen Morton, Tina Hennington, Cheryl Odom and several aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene Hudson and Bro. Tim Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 12, 2108 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Beverly Ann Godwin

Mrs. Beverly Ann Godwin, age 72, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at her home in Bay Minette, Ala. She was a native of Lauderdale County, Miss. and had resided in the Bay Minette-Perdido, Ala. area most of her life.

Mrs. Godwin is survived by her daughter, Tracey (George) Hendricks of Brewton, Ala.; two nephews, Kevin (Lee Anna) Irle of Saraland, Ala. and Shawn Irle of Bay Minette, Ala.; one niece, Tina Marmolejo of Perdido Key, Fla. and three grandchildren, Kellie Michelle Hendricks, John Britton Hendricks and Logan Patrick Hendricks.

No funeral service is scheduled.

Elizabeth Barnette Gandy

Mrs. Elizabeth Barnette Gandy, age 68, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. She was born In Mixonville, Ala to William and Velma Lymon Mixon. She was a graduate of Thurgood Marshall High School in Ala. She had been employed for many years with the Jewish Community Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Gandy; son, David Gandy and siblings, Clarence, John and Joe Mixon.

Mrs. Gandy is survived by her two sons, Timothy L. (Kelly) Gandy of Youngstown and Kenneth (Yolandra) Gandy of Campbell; six grandchildren, Tim’Aira, Darius, Kynddra, Michael Emett and Alice; two sisters, Edith Mixon and Janice Salter; three brothers, Bobby Neal Mixon, Jessie Mixon and William Mixon, all of Mixonville, Ala. and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at First Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Mixonville.

Ms. Joanne Morris, age 54, of Pollard, Ala., passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Ala.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Gateway to Heaven Church.
