WCA announces dates for annual display of Christmas lights

Special to Atmore News

Wind Creek Atmore (WCA) announces that this year’s Christmas lights are set to be turned on November 23 at dusk. You’re invited to bring the family early for hot cocoa and a complimentary picture with Santa and his elf from 2 p.m. until dusk at the WCA Amphitheater.
Featured for the first time this year are lights and decorations from Jubilee Décor.
Be prepared for a new experience when visiting the property this holiday season. Some features include a 34’ tower tree, illuminated reindeer, and a RGB light tunnel synced with your favorite Christmas jingles.
Guests will be “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” with special effects snow machine and walk-through ornament. It’s the perfect place to capture a holiday picture. Other decorations include five 20’ Christmas trees that work together to create a one of a kind light show and an arrangement of ornaments over 10’ tall.
New lights and decorations are going to be added to the casino front entrance that can be seen from miles away.
Outdoor lights are set on sensors and come on each evening at sunset and will remain on until sunrise the next morning.
Take a stroll through the indoor and outdoor display anytime from the day after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve. The display is a gift to the community from The Poarch Band of Creek Indians and Wind Creek Atmore.
Admission is free to everyone.
