Destiny Worship Center hosted its 12th annual Senior Citizens Community Appreciation Banquet on November 17 to honor and show appreciation to all senior citizens of our community.
The seniors were entertained with musical selections from Joshua Banks Jr., games, cake walk and door prizes. Each of the attendees was awarded a gift and enjoyed a dinner served by volunteers and members of Destiny Worship Center’s outreach team.
“This year’s event was another successful one, filled with laughter and love,” DWC Pastor Bernard Bishop said. “Our objective was met again, being able to see all denominations together under one roof in unity.”
Bishop thanked the community for its support and members of the church’s outreach team for volunteering their time and services.
