Autumn Hasting

Special to Atmore News

Autumn Hasting has stage three aggressive melanoma, a form of skin cancer. On October 10, she had extensive surgery in Mobile. She has been to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and doctors there are telling the oncologist at Women’s and Children’s Hospital how to treat her.
To help the family with expenses, a benefit will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, at Boatyard Landing in Stockton. The event will feature food, an auction, and a live band.
Organizers are asking for donations of any kind (food, auction items, money, time).
Plates will be available – hot dogs for $5, hamburgers for $7. Plates include fries and a drink.
Donations need to be collected by Oct. 24. Please contact Billy Mills at 251-294-2915 or Louise White at 251-24-3412.
