Teens of the 60s dance coming up

News Staff Report

If you’d like to reconnect with classmates from your high school days … if you’d like to go back to the 60s, the decade of bell-bottoms, mini-skirts, maxi-skirts, psychedelic colors, long hair, the big afro, and jamming music, then you’ll want to attend the Teens of the 60s Dance.
Sponsored by the Escambia County Training School Class of 1968, the dance is set for Friday, June 29, 8 p.m. to midnight, Escambia County High School gym, Atmore.
Admission is $15 per person in advance, $20 per person at the door. Tickets are available at Atmore News, 128 S. Main Street, and at Gold’s BBQ & Grill, 312 E. Ridgeley Street.
Organizers are hoping everyone will come, not just training school classes and not just the Class of 1968.
