Perdido Middle School’s boys track team took first place honors at the district meet recently. Members of the team, coached by Jackson Adams, placed as follows:
* 100 meter dash: 1st – Ty Drinkard; 2nd – Christopher Johnson
* 1600 meter race: 2nd – Cole Koehrsen
* 4×100 meter relay: 1st place team – Coleman Dove, Landen Harville, Christopher Johnson, Cole Koehrsen
* 400 meter race: 1st – Ty Drinkard
* 200 meter dash: 1st – Landen Harville
* 4×400 meter relay: 1st place team – Coleman Dove, Ty Drinkard, Christopher Johnson, Cole Koehrsen
* Triple jump: 1st – J.W. Jackson; 2nd – Damian Singleton
* Long jump: 1st – J.W. Jackson; 2nd – Damian Singleton; 3rd – Coleman Dove
* Discus: 3rd – Diego Flores
* Shot put: 3rd – Diego Flores
J.W. Jackson was named 1A Baldwin County Boys MVP.
