National Day of Prayer only 2 weeks away

The local National Day of Prayer Committee has met weekly for more than a month in preparation for this year’s local event to be held Thursday, May 3.

The theme is Ephesians 4:3 – Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

The day will include Praying On Site with Insight at 10 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial and Atmore City Hall.

At 5:30, everyone is invited to gather at Escambia County High School Cornell Torrence Gym for a community prayer service and Scripture reading. The RPM Trailer with Miss Flippy Toe will also be at the gym for youngsters kindergarten through sixth grade.

The prayer service includes break-out prayer sessions. The following pastors have committed to participate:
