BOE approves personnel recommendations

The following personnel recommendations by Escambia County School Superintendent John Knott were approved by the Board of Education at the meeting Tuesday, January 30.

Leave of absence
1. Kathy Steadham, seven-hour custodian, Turtle Point Science Center, leave of absence under the Family Medical Leave Act, effective December 1, 2017 and December 29, 2017
2. Kimberly Caraway, office aide, Huxford Elementary School, leave of absence under the Family Medical Leave Act, effective August 16, 2017 through November 8, 2017
3. Kimberly Caraway, office aide, Huxford Elementary School, leave of absence, effective November 9, 2017 through November 30, 2017

Resignation
