Atmore woman injured in crash
A two-vehicle collision that occurred December 29 at a rural intersection sent an Atmore woman to a local hospital. The crash, between a Nissan Maxima and a Honda Accord, happened around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Jack Springs Road and Woods Road. Escambia Academy hosted the New Year Classic Basketball Tournament December 29 and 30. EA won over Walton High School (Florida) 80-79 when EA’s Fred Flavors made a buzzer-beater 3-point basket.
