The Escambia County Board of Education approved the following recommendation by Superintendent John Knott at the regular meeting Thursday, January 19, at Escambia County Middle School.

Resignation
1. Royce Young, teacher, head football coach and athletic director, Escambia County High School, effective May 26, 2017
2. Doug Hoehn, teacher, head football coach and athletic director, W.S. Neal High School, effective January 31, 2017
3. Kyle Cinereski, bus driver, Brewton Bus Shop, effective January 23, 2017

Employment
1. Rachel Wood, special education teacher aide, Escambia County Middle School, effective January 23, 2017
2. Michelle Uriegas, special education teacher, Escambia County Middle School, effective January 23, 2017 (replacing Kathryn Griffin)
3. Anna Wheeler, substitute teacher, Title I After-School Program,Rachel Patterson Elementary School, effective January 5, 2017
