On December 1, Rachel Patterson Elementary first-grade students presented “The Night Before Christmas” to a packed house.
London Forney was moderator for the evening. Characters were Jaliyah King – Tinsel the Elf; DeRihanna Riley – Holly the Elf; Jade Harrelson – Snowflake the Elf; Brysen Staples – Mr. Darling; Trinity Rabb – Mrs. Darling; Xavier Culliver – St. Nick.
All students in the seven first-grade classes participated. Songs they performed included Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Jingle Bells, Rudolph, Up On the Housetop, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
