Ruth Arlene Mininger
Mrs. Ruth Arlene Mininger, age 77, of Moundridge, Kans. and formerly of Walnut Hill, Fla., passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Moundridge. She was a homemaker. She was born in Goessel, Kans. to the late George and Leah Boeckner Dyck. She was a member of the Walnut Hill Mennonite Church.

Mrs. Mininger is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Mininger of Moundridge; three sons, Gary (Roberta) Mininger. and Kevin (Debbie) Mininger, all of Walnut Hill, Arlen (Teresa) Mininger of Albertville, Ala.; one daughter, Starla (Randy) Yost of Moundridge; one brother, Edwin (Loretta) Dyck of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; one sister, Maxine (Elwood) Koehn of Moundridge; eighteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from Southern Harbor Mennonite Church with Bro. Verlee Peters officiating. Interment followed in Walnut Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. from Southern Harbor Mennonite Church at Davisville, Fla.

Mazie Ann Lambert
Ms. Mazie Ann Lambert, age 68, of Perdido, Ala. passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Bay Minette, Ala. She was a homemaker. She was born in Bay Minette, Ala. to the late James and Wilma Lambert.

Ms. Lambert is survived by special friends, Judy (Robbie) Colbert of Perdido and her church family at Perdido Baptist Church.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. from Brears-McGill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were the men of the church.

Buford Eugene Flowers
Mr. Buford Eugene Flowers, age 74, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Bay Minette, Ala. He was a native of Phillipsville, Ala. and has resided in Bay Minette for most of his life. He was a member of the Vision Ministries Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orono Samuel Flowers and Olivia Jeanette Flowers; daughter, Cindy Flowers and brother, Orono Devan Flowers.
Mr. Flowers is survived by wife, Josephine Flowers of Bay Minette; one daughter, Sherry and Bert Pierce of Mobile, Ala.; one brother, Gordon Allen Flowers of Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Gayle Flowers of Bay Minette and Shirley Jean Brears of Mobile; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Long of Mobile and Dennis Long of Radbun, Ala. and one grandson, Connor Pierce.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11a.m. at Petty-Eastview Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Blackman officiating. Burial followed at Perdido Baptist Cemetery.

The family received friends Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 10 until service time at 11 a.m. at Petty-Eastview Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Jay, Don Ridge, Darin Thompson, Chris Long, Clay Bedford and Deville Griffin.

Monty Daniel Bell
Mr. Monty Daniel Bell, age 58, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 in Pensacola, Fla. He was an owner of Monty Windshield Repair and Locksmith also worked offshore as a crane operator. He was born in Flomaton, Ala. to the late Fern Bell and Eleanor Daniel Bell, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Fern Bell, Jr

Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, Tabitha Kovash Bell of Atmore; his mother, Eleanor Bell of Robertsdale, Ala.; four sons, Joshawa (Sara) Bell of S.C., Justin Bell, Nathan Bell and Remington Bell, all of Atmore; brother, Jeff (Tammy) Bell of Enterprise, Ala., twin brother, Mark Bell of Atmore; one sister, Sharron (Don) Bullard of Atmore; two grandchildren, Charlie Bell and Rhett Bell; nieces and nephews, Corey Loop, Katie Beth Bell, and Jeff Edward Bell, Jr.; a host of family and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Davis officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Joshawa Bell, Justin Bell, Nathan Bell, Jimmy Smith, William Hastings, Jim Fuller, Chad Cook and Gwen Hendricks.

Marty Leon Griffis
Mr. Marty Leon Griffis, age 57, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 in Pensacola, Fla. He was a native and life-long resident of Century, Fla. He was an outdoorsman. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Della Griffis and one brother, Robert Griffis.

Mr. Griffis is survived by his three brothers, Keith Griffis, Billy Griffis and Rodney Griffis all of Century; aunt, Jean Clark of Century and a number of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 2, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. James Peacock officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

The family received friends Monday, January 2, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Joe Thomas, age 64, of Brewton, Ala., passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at D.W. McMillan Hospital

Ms. Loretta McCants, age 75, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
